Canned Grape Juice

  1. Wash and remove grapes from vine (perfection not required)
  2. Fill large pot with the stemmed grapes and crush over high heat until boiling
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, continuing to crush periodically
  4. Strain juice into large jars (or growler)
  5. Refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours to allow sediment to sink
  6. Drain juice away from sediment and store in airtight container int he refrigerator for another 3 – 5 days
  7. Add drained juice back to pot and heat to 190 degrees
  8. Place hot juice in jars
  9. Process for 10 minutes
