- Wash and remove grapes from vine (perfection not required)
- Fill large pot with the stemmed grapes and crush over high heat until boiling
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, continuing to crush periodically
- Strain juice into large jars (or growler)
- Refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours to allow sediment to sink
- Drain juice away from sediment and store in airtight container int he refrigerator for another 3 – 5 days
- Add drained juice back to pot and heat to 190 degrees
- Place hot juice in jars
- Process for 10 minutes
