- Cook beans according to directions. For Ninja Foodie, un-soaked beans, combine with 8 cups water, pressure cook on high for 40 minutes, slow release 15 minutes
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a dutch oven over medium heat on the stove, cooked bacon 5 – 10 minutes depending on preference
- Add onions and cook until translucent
- Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine
- Cover and transfer to oven and cook for 1 hour, checking about every 30 minutes to see if they look to need any additional water. Uncover and cook additional 30 minutes.

- 1 lb dry beans (navy, kidney, cannellini)
- 8 slices bacon (chopped)
- 1 onion
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp molasses or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1.5 cups bean liquid
