This recipe was on an episode of Tim Farmer’s Country Kitchen that I saw on our local PBS station. This show seemed cheesy at first but he has some wonderful recipes and I’ve come to enjoy this show on Sunday afternoons!
- Shred the cabbage and other vegetables in a large bowl
- Separately mix the remaining dressing ingredients
- Pour dressing on cabbage mixture and allow to marinade for 30 minutes to an hour
- Top with peanuts or sesame seeds to serve
This recipe is similar in taste and style to the Carrot Slaw recipe but more of a peanut flavor and without the mint if you don’t have that on hand. A great side for Fish Tacos, Pulled Pork, or Sloppy Joes!
